THREE updates. Do take note.


FIRSTLY, for the following week, there will only be TWO training sessions - specifically on Monday and Wednesday @ TPSH from 3 to 6pm.

I was too busy with marking and underestimated the popularity of TPSH. By the time I tried to book the courts, it was already fully booked. Really fully booked. My sincerest apologies if you have already made plans. Normal training (4 times a week) should resume the week after that.


SECONDLY, there will be 3 weeks of compulsory holiday periods for all sports CCAs. I have chosen these 3 weeks for our badminton CCA.

23rd to 27th Nov

&

14th to 27th Dec

Please try to arrange your holidays during this period of time IF possible. If not, inform either Euphemia or Huiwen regarding the time frame that you will be overseas (e.g. 20th Nov to 26th Nov) and would not be able to make it for training sessions. This is not a request. You MUST inform either Euphemia or Huiwen if you will overseas and can't make it for training.


LASTLY, this is regarding adminstrative matters and attendance taking for our CCA.
I will be working out a system for attendance taking next year, and I will select a person from each level to be in charge of attendance for that level. I have not decided whether or not I will choose the Captain for each level to hold that responsibility, but i will decide soon.

I feel that it is unfair to expect the overall Captain or Vice-Captain to keep chasing specific individuals for missing training sessions. Furthermore, I believe this would be an appropriate trial for anyone who wishes to take on Leadership Posts in Badminton, and for me to recommend them for any Leadership Posts in the school in the future. That person will answer directly to me.

Final Note.
There will be a new coach on Monday, and I expect all of you to give him/her your fullest cooperation. Euphemia, Huiwen and Serene, I will need to speak to the three of you. Let me know when I can meet the three of you in school.
